My real name is Jim and I am curreently at Boy Scout summer camp - Camp Nanticoke, in Maryland.
The mosquitoes are quite thick just now; one of the smaller scouts was caarried away, kicking and screaming - quite the sight!!
The course I attended was in June 1982 - Leadership Development; our patrol is the Busting Beavers - we "bust" our tails. The camp where I took Wood Badge Basic was also at Camp Nanticoke - 24 years ago. This fall I'm going to the Blue Springs Gilwell Reunion, which is Northwest of Toronto about 20 miles.
This morning (6:30am) a group of "Aquamen" (senior scouts & me) are going by kayak to a retreat to have breakfast - away from the maddening noise of the dining hall.
