Let me get this straight. You tested for tension of the remaining hubs and
one spoke and the HUB broke off? can you explain what you meant by
broke off? did one spoke hole on the flange break or somehow is your
hub in one hand and rim in the other? (if so how did that happen?).
15/18 spokes are pretty light for a clydesdale, I'd say a 14/15 is a better
guage (or 2.0/1.8 mm).
If your hub failed I would contact Hugi, even tho its 2 years old it should
Not fail like that.
I checked on the Hugi site and there is no weight limit posted
anywhere that I could find for 240 hubs (and I checked mountain
and road variants.)
They also list a 3 year warranty so you should be covered.
