I was so bummed when I first heard that the NYC chain was cut... I was hoping that it actually was someone thief proof. Nope. On top of that, the $3000 insurance thing from kryptonite seems kind of lame because you would need receipts and all that for the bike... I've been paying a lot for individual bike parts on my current ride (as most people on here probably do as opposed to buying a whole bike in a shop), but I doubt they'd reimburse me for everything.
