Does NYC remove chains from posts?

So... NYPD takes the chins off the posts? When did they start doing that? Boy I hat
e lugging around chains..

NYPD does NOT remove chains, but they are being stolen so carry it or lose it sister.

GET THE BRINCKS LOCK! I have yet to see these locks cut. They're the disk shaped lock that alot odf store owners use to lock their front gates. Lock is solid!
