Chainring fits fine. When I bought the bike I got them to throw in a 48T chainring. The one they gave me was so out of round the chain was loose at one point in a revolution and too loose in another. The bottom bracket is stock and I think it is 118mm, I though I might have to switch it out with the Campy but everything wen together OK. The 48t has to go on the outside of the chainring arms to clear the frame. Throws the chainline off a wee bit but not as much as a derailleur.
