Keep baby-wipes in the garage, shop, bedroom, closet or where ever you work on your bike. They work great for overall quick after ride wipe downs and do a good job of removing dirt from bartape.
For white bar tape, use a toothbrush (not your roommates or spouse) and some whitening toothpaste. It'll brighten that white tape up.
