cool, thanks for the link. looks a bit more complex than the shimano hubs Ive converted with the position specific rings but shouldnt take too long to figure out what will work.
its probably just for the season(s) but I really dont want to leave the cassette on. the last ss I converted I never put the mechs back on so it may be a more permanent thing. Ill be taking off the derailers and shifters and one of the chainrings and had considered buying a 2nd wheelset for this use (surly or van dessel probably) but would like to keep the $ down and the new surly hubs cost about 2 and a half times what my campy hubs cost(veloces).
