converting campy hub to ss

Im using campy hubs on my cyclocross bike that I want to convert to ss for the fall/winter. this is my first set of campagnolo wheels so forgive me if Im obtuse but looking around on the web it looks like the single cog kits like the kingkog from chris king only fit shimano freehubs. Im not sure if I want to break my cassette apart, is there anywhere that I can get a single campy cog?

Sure, you could easily break your cassette apart but if this is going to be just an off-season thing and this is the only wheelset you have, why not just leave everything as is and just commit yourself to one cog only and not shift at all? Were you planning on removing shifters and derailleurs and shortening the chain?
Yes, single Campy cogs are available.

Branford bike carries individual cogs for a campy hub.

Then just add spacers to get correct chain line.

cool, thanks for the link. looks a bit more complex than the shimano hubs Ive converted with the position specific rings but shouldnt take too long to figure out what will work.
its probably just for the season(s) but I really dont want to leave the cassette on. the last ss I converted I never put the mechs back on so it may be a more permanent thing. Ill be taking off the derailers and shifters and one of the chainrings and had considered buying a 2nd wheelset for this use (surly or van dessel probably) but would like to keep the $ down and the new surly hubs cost about 2 and a half times what my campy hubs cost(veloces).

Van dessel has a fairly cheap wheelset you can get.. As for the position, those cogs are really designed to build your own cassette is reason they state the position, but should work fine for what you want to do. You might want to check out the 8sp cogs they are a bit thicker so should last longer. Branford bikes carries just about every campy part you'll ever need.

Marchisio do individual cogs for anything, cheaper than Campy.
Torelli is the US distributor.
