One incident, probably not. But Honolulu has had a couple of bank robbers flee by bicycle and a while back, some guy on bicycle would ride up behind a driver getting out of a parked car and slam them in the head with a brick or rock. The dirt bag would then rob the knocked out driver and rummage through their car. He did this to 8-10 drivers, putting a couple of them in the hospital. Reason enough for drivers to become concerned of the possibility of being assaulted and robbed by a bicycle rider.
