At my brother in law's house. Or should I say, castle. Sitting here near the terrace looking at the golf fairway in his backyard. They are truly blessed. I'm just speachless.
Our house could fit in the kid's playroom.
But he truly deserves it. Paid his own way through college by going through the Airforce, worked his way up the ol' corporate ladder, and being a great guy.
It's nice being here and not feeling any pressure to do anything. Just hangout and eat.

Going for a late (9:00) ride this morning with a different group. I might only know one of them but that's never a problem. If they're dicks I can still have a good time. The gf is preparing a feast for later, which means I will be cleaning up after, unless she feels inspired.
Having knee pain for a couple weeks, the worst I've ever had, so I'm putting the Look pedals back on to see if that helps. Been using SPD pedals with PI shoes that don't have enough adjustment for me. Went to the LBS to try and buy some road shoes and they didn't have a pair in the store that fit. I glued my old Maresi shoe together and I'll have to try that today. end babble, have a great holiday, everybody.

My youngest has a chest cold...I got home from work last night feeling kinda crappy..now I'm congested with a bad sinus headache...hope it stays out of my chest. I was really looking forward to riding today but I think that's not going to happen...also looks like I'll be staying at home with Sydney while the wife and my oldest got to friends for T-day.

Ever since I made that movie on that website and watched the other ones, everything that goes through my head is in that staccato monotone voice they use.
That will drive me insane.

26 miles, 2600 feet of up, record PB time on the main climb, sub 2 hours total ride time, perfect weather with blue skies and low 70's. Yes, I'm very thankful.

Did 52 miles on a banana and two cups of coffee this morning. Came home and did the turkeys. I was full just from eating the pan scrapings and cuttings before we even served.

had a decent day - managed to not leave the dinner gathering I was at until feelings had calmed down...
geesh - I met a new (another) person around whom the world apparently revolves.
anyway, I made it through and that's good enough.

^ bummer.
another successful thanksgiving, this one without the political arguments of last year and my father only talked about his health problems and the problem with liberal health care for a short while--luckily, while I was in the kitchen.
good bird; good sides.

41 report: Someone just opened up a "Women - show us a picture of you on a bike" thread, and it was locked after just two posts. Hilarious. I guess with all the issues they have with the new software, they couldn't handle yet another posting of Tammy Thomas.

I still can't figure out what this board software can't recall what you've read or not read. I only have new posts in the top two threads in this forum, but haven't read anything in any of the others. Then it only shows the first six pages, and there's no last page link. Yeah, it's free to use, but hell there are so many board packages that are far and away better it's silly.
