Does anyone know why AG2R is ProTour? aqua and sapone barloworld bouygues telecom fuji servetto garmin isd katusha lampre lotto milram quickstep saxo bank xocoebo galicia plus top 10 in the tour last year. the efimkin brothers also look promising. i would much rather have the broadcast talking about these guys than sweeping back into the peloton to get the 3,895th shot of lance. |

Whereas AG2R has been a no show. Also, do all you sprinter haters hate on Menchov and Di Luca now after yesterdays stage? You know, where szmyd lead for about 25K then Basso the rest while menchov and di luca came by in the last 300M to punk him for the stage win? lastly, is there a climber gregario who could be in a better spot that szmyd vs. last year? 2007/2008, spent entire gt life waiting on cunego, now he's shepherding around basso. that's a move from the outhouse to the penthouse folks! |
Did LA get dropped big on the climbs and only finish down a minute because the last 40K were downhill?
Just to keep things in perspective he's only down 4:19 so far and the next big thing Tom Danielson (you knew I was gonna say something) is 29:02 back already. Are they riding for Wiggins? |

Great cat&mouse between the 5 man break away.

I knew boasson hagen would win the sprint against those guys in the break, but daaamn, it looked like he didn't even break a sweat doing it. he just stood up a few times and was 5 bike lengths ahead.

Hunter gave away the win today ... starting at 2:31:00 (hours:minutes:seconds). Dude didn't start his sprint until 100m ... maybe he knew he was gonna get beat .. maybe he was gassed.

Paul Sherwen and Bob Roll better hope he never retires because when he does, one, or both of them, are out of a job.
He's also a very funny interview, and like you said - he's going to be doing commentary in the near future. |

Do these guys ever listen to their broadcasts? Do they EVER talk to any of the riders other than Hincapie? They are tired at best, incredibly boring at worst. Horner would be a breath of fresh air. Hell, Sean Kelly on Eurosport (doing the Giro color commentary) has more to offer than Roll and Sherwen combined, and he's a low talker/mumbler who sounds like he's in pain when he speaks. |
