It's the first time I've seen Levi as the team's designated leader in a race with ProTour-level competition. It wasn't so shocking to see this phenomenon when he was a domestique, but as a team's GC man it's a bit sad.

Just curious, do yo know anything about E. E. Cummings? Surely you don't equate the writings of a famous poet who, on occasion, chose not to capitalize his name in a gesture of self-deprecation, with the ramblings of botto.

He was the man going into the Tour of 07 but once the Chicken started to attack AC was the only one who could respond. It's not his strong point and this race has several guys who are still in the running for the overall that can attack and respond to attacks. I'm still looking to Liquigas to play it's two cards...Basso and Pellzotti can tag team a select group of GC guys and flick Levi while DiLuca and Menchov can respond.

You mean you aren't going to change how you type for a guy who joined BF less than a year ago??

This all started, if you recall, because I thought it f'd that you, one who cannot capitalize properly, chose to criticize Cav's use of the language as being less artful than you cared for. WTF?

Let's discuss the Giro, shall we?

Good heavens, the Universal announcer's mike picks up everything going on at the end of the race. Marching band just went by.

And why the helicopter camera has a microphone is beyond me.

At what climb will the Italians work together to drop Rabobank and Menchov? The peloton is on holiday at the moment. At this rate, the entire 16 man breakaway should stay away.

On the Vaicio la Valletta, the road is so narrow, two mopeds might have trouble passing each other.

Rabobank still up front but the gap is growing.

Breakaway group heading for intermediate sprint at 116Km

Liquigas upped the pace on the descent and split the peloton. Menchov with them. Rabobank also went. Can't tell who got caught out.

did the Universal Sports announcer just pronounce "Cervelo" as "Chinevolo"?

Basso easily pulling DiLuca and Mencho up the climb. Di Luca instructing a tifosi to get out of the way.

Uh oh, Basso and Garzelli making an attack. Sastre is following.
