Jeez, he won it by 41". I thought it was closer than that. He must've destroyed Di Luca today, even with the fall.

Wasn't it 20" coming in? That means he beat him by 21" today, even with the fall.

This Giro was epic. Excitement down to the final km.

The whole Rabobank team including support staff will have heart rates of around 180bpm for the next hour, that is if they haven't had heart attacks.

What a crazy finish to a great race. Well done Menchov.

I agree, whoever got that bike down that fast, Menchov on it, and ran him along, deserves a very nice bonus!

Great Giro!

Most disappointing rider? Basso

Most disappointing team? Garmin. no stage wins, in only one break that I can remember

Most exciting stage? Blockhause

It took Menchov 20 of those seconds to clip in. It would have taken me 20 minutes. Nice race all around. Bravo Italy!

AFA bike racing, this was the best i've ever seen, but don't doubt there could have been other more exciting finishes...

LeMond in the '89 TdF final TT may well be the standard for exciting finishes 100 years from now. Menchov sliding out definitely put a little extra into this Giro.

After being out of action for 2 years, at least Basso was attacking and making the selections. He'll rain hell down here next year.
Levi never attacked, not once, and despite wanting to see him do well (shame on me), has cemented his reputation and for my money is Cadel's wheel suck prutzer competitor.

I'm gonna have to watch that wreck a few more times when I get some time.

It seemed like the bike was there waiting for him before he even stopped sliding. Incredible.
