Did you guys sees Renshaw's tweet about Cav's bed? He said that there was very little on it that wasn't green. lol. All he needs now is a green bike.

Actually, I hope Cav uses this as the cover photo for his next book...the hand-on-chin pose makes him look like a real thinker.

It is kind of fun to watch the kid embrace the green though...good on 'em I say (and good luck--it's a long way to Paris).

(Says the 20 year old).

That's a still, but I don't think she's super attractive.

(I'd still hit that though)

I either read yesterday or heard on VS last night that the thing on Farrar's helmet was a radio. Probably the same thing.

It's their machine-to-human interface. JV and MW manipulate the riders from the team car with gamepad like controllers. They are road testing the interface to work out the kinks before the no-radio stages.

Not with a sub one minute gap facing a 2km final climb he didn't. I think if he had 90 seconds with 2km to go he would have had a shot. If it was flat they never would have pinned him back.

Oh well.

I would guess that's the race radio, I bet it's synched to a bluetooth earpiece, no wires.

I realize this is hi tech for you b, but try to keep up, it's 2009.

That's what my Scooby Do Calendar says at any rate.

By the way, since we're 'experimenting' with no race radio for a couple of stages, can we also have toe clips, down tube shifters and Sony Walkman units for the crowds? And they should compel the race photographers to use Kodachrome film and broadcast the TV coverage in low def B&W. It will be just like back in the Day.

Just so you know, I actually do remember the Day, and it sucked pretty hard.

This is at least the third time in the last year that Millar has either been caught or had a mechanical in the last 2k. There was the broken chain bike-tossing incident, the caught with 35m to go in the DL, and now this one.

What wheels did he use today? I was just reading the text broadcast. I bet a small equipment change could have given him the extra 10 seconds he needed over the 150k.
