what's that on millar's helmet? a transponder? i saw one on zabriskie's helmet yesterday.

I either read yesterday or heard on VS last night that the thing on Farrar's helmet was a radio. Probably the same thing.

It's their machine-to-human interface. JV and MW manipulate the riders from the team car with gamepad like controllers. They are road testing the interface to work out the kinks before the no-radio stages.
