BTW, it sorted of looked like Levi 'clawed his way back into the lead group' by faking a saddle issue while the team car towed him there until the ref said no mas.

Lance is an unstopable rebel force and will win the tour.

In all seriousness it would have been nice for him to get the yellow for a little before hitting the mountains today.

Lance wants to win. Why would he be blocking?
More like this. Both of them are thinking they need to attack. Neither wants to go too early NOR does either want to let the other go first, because then the other would have to sit on wheels while the other gains time. Contador has more in the tank so he went first. I don't think LA had enough to go from that far out but he may have gone in another half km. AC jumped first, LA was forced to play the team role and hope Cadel closed the gap so LA could jump from there.

I'm a Lance fan boy but I don't think he needs this win and I think he's better served letting AC have it.

In past tours there have always been people dressed as Borat. I am disappointed I have not seen any Bruno's out there.

I didn't get to see the race yet, but I have got to know something now. When Evans attacked did Lance cover it and AC keep a steadier pacing?

considering the fact that it wasn't even sure if he'd start, VV has impressed.

Thanks. I thought that might have been the case. That says a lot about what was preplanned for today.

It's sad to me that he isn't the American story line.

All the Astana boys sat back and marked Cadel while Alberto flew the coop.

What a team. They could literally sweep the podium in Paris. Quite possible.

If by cover you mean closed the gap to, no. They were nowhere near catching him.

requisite lance comment: he looked good.

contador: looked downright scary today.

wiggins: freaking epic. i would love to see a pursuiter challenging for the top 15 on gc in a grand tour.

feillu: wow, he is skinny. pretty awesome to see him get a win on such a big stage after just getting signed.

Interesting that all the teams that wear Giro helmets wore a different model today besides the top of line Ionos.
