I've done one day of 3x3x3 intervals per week over 4 weeks and not seen an improvement... almost dead on for the watts each interval and each week. Maybe not trying hard enough...or need a better rest to see the improvement? I would say maybe they have gotten a little easier, however power has not gone up.

3x3x3 meaning 3 sets of 3min on 3min off? Or 3 sets of (3 sets of 3mins)?

The first is way too easy, the second should be closer to the goal. If it's the second, what else are you doing for the week? Just one workout a week won't necessarily lead to gains. What kind of base do you have?

2hr w/ 3x20min at threshold. Except not. First was 2w up, second was 2w up, third was 12w up. After this and a number of races above 1.0IF (was thinking it was just punchy races), think it's time to increase the threshold.

some tempo riding and my first ever big-gear work. Going uphill is a real chore, and sorta reminds me of what this guy is doing (minus the awesomeness of the Muur and the drugs, obviously)

Club TT last night...Knocked a minute off my time from end of June!

Still over a minute and a half slower then last year, but then I was using clip-ons and a TT helmet...

Almost back, just in time for base season to begin...

Are you doing big gear hill repeats? If so, be careful doing that with a lot of tempo as it will dig too deep a hole.

I'll trade you Tampa for your neck of the woods. Flooding galore here...my backyard can now officially be declared a lake...

Well first day in 3 or 4 that it hasn't rained less than 2 or 3 hours here. The mosquitoes are going to be horrid here in a few days with all the standing water.

same here, and it's been that way since mid July or so. I was just a little more stressed than normal in life and it took it's toll on my racing and riding in general.

fortunately I am starting to feel motivated to ride a lot again. At first I was thinking wait till Oct for training but now im thinking sooner.

I'm really tired. Last positive TSB was July 12th. I weighed 150 after my 2 hours of MTB thrashing at 9000' today. 152 this morning. Veins are popping out all over.

Hey race predictor...go eff yourself.
