I am up at 2AM Friday (seriously...wth) to get to the race Friday morning, staying there 3 nights. Depending on what time your crit race is I guess... could determine if you stay 2 or 3 nights.

So I am looking to get any little advantage I can. Do you guys think 202 tubulars are going to hold up OK on the dirt portion of the course?

I am riding for Westwood, but this year I am all alone. Did you ride 4's last year or 3's? I was riding in the 4A's lastyear and was totally burned out. Managed to hang in for most of the race, and get droppedon the last climb.

I have a few teammates in the 3's. Are you driving up tonight? You go off nice and early tomorrow morning.

I gotta work until 8pm, then Idon't really want to drive in the dark when I am tired sowe are going to try to be out the door at 0230 tomorrow, to go up the hill at 9:58:30. I think we should have plenty of time. I think it's a 5 hour drive. 6 hours max, would put us at 8:30am, that'd be rushing a little. Then out to a nice pancake breakfast and ********** enjoy the fresh air and a nap somewhere in there. Followed by more food and more bike racing

There are some strong riders. The guy that won the jr field would have won the 2's. And the fastest cat3 time beat the fastest cat 2 time also.
Today (circuit race) was a crash fest. 3's had two good size wrecks in the final 3k, same with the 4's, same with the 4/5's.... p1, 2 go this afternoon I believe.

I got dropped on the final climb. Still pretty exhausted from two 3.5 hour days, lots of bad eating and little sleep!
Thinking about moving to VT though.

what an incredible series of races!!
This was the most fun I've had racing my bike... ever maybe.
TT: 16:29 for 44th
SR: pack finish.... had the legs for a top 10 though, but not the confidence/smarts to make it happen.
RR: Dropped at the base of Baby App.Gap, finishing 9' off the winner. Great result!
Crit: 90 started 35 finished. I took 16th, but could have been top 10 if not for my lack of positioning/wussiness. Again, great legs, bad head.
So 49th on the GC. At #200 I'm ecstatic.
I love my team and love racing.
Truly a memorable experience.

I always wanted to do that crit again... tight, hilly... it seemed like a determine person could lap the field there.
