I have been on a HUGE Xavier Rudd kick in the last couple of weeks/months.
3 of the more random songs, but they are all worth listening to.

Just a few minutes ago I was playing "I Want to be your Dog" and I asked my dog if he did.

He wagged his tail.

I've never been a big Iggy Pop fan but I like that one.

I've returned to my sophomore year in high school, sitting in the back seat of a 1972 Trans Am with a quart of Miller beer. Gettin' our grit on.

While on the trainer I watched Slayer in concert at Sonisphere. It was kind of tough to keep a relaxed pace, especially when they played War Ensemble and Raining Blood.

^like.

when Im riding I have my ipod on a playlist that includes both of those, and 'angel of death', and 'criminally insane'.

I only like a handful of metal bands, but if you like that, you really should check out Nailbomb and Soulfly.

Soulfly is one of favorite bands; people would probably be surprised that much of their lyrics are about God/spiritualism.

I went to join my gf and a friend of hers to a concert last friday. They went to see this strange but intense poet/musician dude named Listener. It was aight.

After that there was a local-ish (Long Beach) metal band that was alot of fun. I don't listen to alot of metal like I used to, but It was high energy and tons of fun. I even found myself in the pit a little bit.

I checked out my violin last night. I want to play it again. Found a bunch of music, one of my many tuning forks, I have a pro level stand... I just need to play it 1000 or 2000 hours and I'll be back to an upper high school level of play. Oh and I need both my bows restrung (one's like a TT bow, heavy and powerful, the other is light and agile, like box section carbon wheels). Sigh.
