Maybe it’s just me but I feel like that survey wasn’t reviewed enough. Survey questions have to be very carefully worded to get meaningful results.
I think something like this would work better:
On a scale of 0 to 7 where 0 is “no agreement” and 7 is “I fully agree” how much do you agree with the following statement:
“When I feel like I have a low chance of success, I am unlikely to participate in races.”
I don’t race because it is easy; I race because it is hard.

Nothing like banking a lot on telling everyone how much money you can save only to continually be like "these numbers just seem so high.....something is up but no doubt the general idea that we can save a lot is still valid"...
Then when trying to finally resolve the discrepancy you stumble on a glitch with MS Access 2007. I found a query that acted like it was a full outer join (not possible in Access) when it was distinctly an inner join. Was able to modify and then reproduce the error and glitch multiple times. How do you explain to a machinist/boss that your numbers weren't right because of "Microsoft"?

If you feel that you are incapable of succeeding does that make it more or less likely that you will enter races? Do you avoid difficult tasks where failure is likely; or do you enjoy tackling a seemingly impossible task?

I believe it's called, "fat 30-something dork in a dead end job moonlighting as a wheelbuilder". It's a poor dialect only practiced at night in basements and usually under the influence of solvents associated with archaic devices known as "sew-up"s.

The problem with Access is it's not a real relational DB. How was the query that failed written, query builder, sql, wizard?

Built it in the design view using the visual query builder, but the SQL statement text/syntax is right on as well. Really weird. Something on the back-end for sure.

So would it be creepier if my costume was more like this guys:
![](https://3.bp.blogspot.com/_0_QCi5ItEL4/TUqLCQRZOzI/AAAAAAAAAAc/CTg07iqOs5Q/s400/The%2BStrangers%2B2%2BMovie.jpg)
and/or this guys:
![](https://www.kreationx.com/kreationx/Dr_Decker_Mask_Nightbreed_files/Dr_Decker_02.jpg)
Or go with the backwoods serial killer with bloody, dirty overalls and a flannel?
![](https://videogum.com/img/thumbnails/photos/floppy_sack_masks/friday_the_13_2.jpg)
I have the sack for the mask, a big zipper for the mouth, a nice, wooden button, etc. I'm getting ready to mix up some blood and maybe put onion flakes in it for, like, bits o' flesh and stuff.
