Sorry to hear!
Btw $5k may seem like a lot (it is), but you may be entitled to even more.. are you talking to any lawyers?
Also not sure what kind of injuries you had, but be careful of signing anything too soon; if something crops up in a month from the wreck you could be screwed.
Just keep in mind that while the insurance folks may seem nice, they aren't on your side. Their job is to spend less money on you. Maybe you already knew that, sorry..

I can't believe Rbart has done more of the great NorCal climbs than I have. Don't you just love that 17% final wall at the top of Diablo? It seems like a dirty trick, doesn't it?
And lemme guess about the gelateria? Was it Devine on 19th in Midtown? I was there with my kids last week. I recommend a scoop of double chocolate and a scoop of pistachio. Amazing.

I made a full-size (6') zombie silhouette for our front, glass door. When the lights are off outside and the indoor lights are on it looks pretty good. Almost too good. Every fricken time I open the main door it scares the bejebus out of me. Even when I mentally tell myself its there.
Maybe I'll get a pic of it and post it. I printed 3 templates to transfer on 2'x3' sheets of cardboard. Cut them out, duct taped them together and spray painted them black. I'm thinking about cutting out eye holes and a mouth and using translucent bond to cover the holes. That way a little bit of light will shine through.

Fun fact: if your secretary is a native Arabic speaker, she will staple your copies in the upper right corner.

Fun fact: If your secretary is lazy and mean, she will not staple your papers at all and tell you to go F yourself.

I was warned about that final kicker so I was looking for it....Diablo had to be the most fun I had climbing, the views on the way up were just outstanding...The only problem was sitting around at the top waiting for my wife and coach to finish up (he's a track racer, so climbing is not his thing)
Devine was addictive, once we went we wanted to go back everyday! Ride hard and reward ourselves

Not so fun fact: If your boss is an obnoxious, pig-headed idiot he will threaten to make you start working Saturdays when you tell him you are taking next Friday off for a bike trip.

5. I don’t know anymore; I have the impression of being incapable of succeeding in this sport

Nothing happened. At that time things were a little weird in our marriage still. Lots of questions and not sure what was going to happen between us.

i was planning to start my 'off season running' program today.
woke up with a sore throat, light headache, and various other flui-ish symptoms.
is that a sign, that i shouldn't run?
