So, I'm thinking ... Movies like this, "Rabid" and others like, "The Exorcist," "The Amityville Horror," and "I Spit on Your Grave." I was between the age of 6 and 9 when we (my family) were watching these at the drive in. I can remember a few grindhouse flicks as well. Can't remember the name but one was about a zombie biker gang in England, I think.
Maybe this has something to do with my thought process.

I'll take a white chocolate macadamia nut cookie over oreos any day. Not a big fan of mass produced cookies in general.

Our pizza joint makes donuts. They fry up dough and put on a nice sour cream icing on them. That after a pizza is the work of the debbile.

Our New York office mailed us Momofuku Milk Bar cookies last week. They were very much worth the guilt I felt later as I stepped on the scale.

Last night, a student brought Oreos to class and I brought the milk.
Last week, I was talking about brand extensions, using Oreos as an example, and, a student mentioned that the amount of creme in the middle has been decreasing. I questioned that and said that we should do some "myth busting." Voila, Oreos in class. Looked and tasted the same to me.
