The seem to be ok for a budget minded cyclist. Not like some of the real cheap (and nasty) clothing.
please keep me updated as you put more miles on them. likely wouldn't be ordering for a few weeks anyway. which pair specifically did you get? i'm looking at the aeron pro.

So the weather report for El Tour de Tuscon this saturday is rain likely, 50's, strong winds.

Is it weird that I'm looking forward to this?

I'll try and remember to. I got the dhb Trace bibs. I'm cheap and they were on special: that amount I recevied from the insurance company for replacement clothing just covered the special price (including freight).

I’ve heard that the route was changed from 111 to 107 miles, leaving out the minefield known as Silverbell Road. Do you know about this?

You should be...that's awesome!
My friends who are riding it are freaking out about the weather! They've mentally psyched themselves out before the event!
Hope you have a great ride!

I know that was a bit of a joke, but she's got a long way to go before we start worrying about that. She still needs to be more aggressive. It's not in her nature. I believe she has the natural talent to play Div 1 college ball. But she will need to find the drive if that's what she chooses. If she doesn't I hope she gets a good academic scholarship .

When I was a bit younger I used to play pick-up at lunch time at U Florida at the "A" game. It was a pretty tough game with many former college men's Division 1 players and on occasion a former NBA player or two.

Only one of the women came back again and again. Props to her.

Now they hire some skilled college boys to play against the ladies in scrimmages to toughen them up instead.
Yes...she's typically a very good shooter. Not always common for a 13 year old girl her size. She was 100% from the field and the line before this last game.

And yes. Playing against boys is one of the best things the girls can do to improve their game IMO. Boys are typically quicker, and more aggressive. Scrimmaging boys helps develop quicker game speed decision making and assertiveness for the girls IMO.

Latest highlight reel...

lol love the incredibles.

RE: Tuscon

I don't know anything about the route - family friend is inviting my dad and I to go ride it with them, although they will be doing a shorter route (40mi).

Chemist: winds say mid teens in mph

Does your daughter vanish sometimes too? And is it really hard to hit her with stuff?
