Idk of any east valley rides. I will be at the BOS ride in Scottsdale, it's off season but still pretty hard. The other big Saturday ride is from Bicycle Ranch. Both are around 60 miles. I usually add some miles on around Paradise Valley after the ride or some guys extend the BOS or BR rides by going out to 7 springs or Bartlett Lake.
There's a Sunday ride called ATM, it's flat and fast, goes around the back of south mountain. It leaves from landis cyclery in Tempe.

It was actually pretty warm here today. Rode my mother in laws bike a few miles, rented an 8 speed road bike, rode to Coffee Rush instead of driving to got a super easy KOM haha. Plan on doing BOS, if I get to bed by midnight or so. Maybe ride tomorrow, Idk.

If Santa came directly to my house it would be roughly 3900 miles. After traveling the entire world by bike, I'd hope he'd get a pro fit. Of course, if you listen to YMCA the body will adapt to any position given time.

You'd think Santa would get some fenders and panniers.

As I get more used to my new bike I am coming to realize that I was throwing watts away this entire year due to a pig ass bike setup and a frame made of jello composite.

A made in Canada boutique frameset. It really is a fine bike, but it's simply not on the same level as the new one. Part of it is my fit was ridiculous and part of it is it's simply not nearly as rigid. The silly fit now comes off as an obvious disadvantage on flat ground, descending, or seated on steep stuff, and the flexiness when accelerating (seriously, night and day) or climbing out of the saddle.

I'm Strava stalking junior at training camp. Day 1 (Sat) 10 riders 15 flats. Day 2, more flats. He's on his training tubulars - no flats. Guess he got his all in at 2015 beginning of the year races.

I have my doubts that work work with rollers. Typing in front while moving side to side sounds challenging.

this is the one I've used for 10 years. I bought it direct from frontgate

Can't help you with the rollers but I use a music stand with the trainer. Go to Walmart.com and search for On Stage Orchestra-Style Music Stand. It fits the laptop, phone, and TV remote with ease.

I use a music stand too, sometimes I use a pair of them depending on how much tech I want to play with. Definitely the cheapest option.
