My daughter was born a day before that tragic accident, so I was out of the loop for a few days, and only recently heard about the accident. Being from Montreal, I sometimes commute back from work through Lachine, so it's a bit alarming to me. I feel for the wife and children he left behind, and if the driver knows about what he did, I hope he turns himself in.

I actually remember that day very well, a few people were supposed to come visit my wife and I at the hospital but cancelled because they said the weather was too crazy for them. I also noticed snow flakes falling down the same day and found it odd to see snow in October.
