I live in the flatlands so a single speed was the obvious way to go. It's a Surly cross-check, decals removed. I've recently crossed the 2000 mile mark on it for the year, and other than some new tires (T-serv's) and a new freewheel, It's just like the day I built it, which is when this picture was taken. Ocaasionally I throw a rear rack on it for groceries and errands, and of course now I've got lighting set up for winter. It's turned out to be everything I'd hoped it would be. I love it.
