Now that I have some high quality wool socks (wigwam & smartwool) I really, really like wool socks. I now wear them whenever I can. They are soft, stay dry, and are just so much more comforable than cotton socks even just wearing them to the office. I never even realized how moist regular socks get even just wearing them doing nothing special until I went with the wool socks. So much better. I have two pairs and have to get more.
I know everyone loves the smartwool, but I actually like my wigwam socks better. No one seems to mention this brand. They seem to wick better and are warmer even though they are thinner than the smartwool. But I am just being picky. They are both great.
