I ride "vintage" (i.e. not expensive) bikes I buy at thrift stores and off craigslist. I've actually come out ahead this year by fixing up and selling bikes. I get the feeling like I'm not the typical cyclist. In perspective, I don't do much serious riding other than commuting every day and getting around town.
