My only complaint is that mine doesn't have rear rack eyelets on the seat stays---a pretty glaring omission considering the intended market. I bought some attachment that hooks up the rack to the seatpost---doesn't look so elegant, but works fine. I hear they added the eyelets in later models. Anyhow, I too love those hubs. Happy rides!
Believe me, I liked the R500. I just realized that I really had my heart set on the Tricross. It's funny because the Tricross has eyelets on the seatstays but I don't use them as you may be able to tell. The rack I have mounts to the brake bosses. Of course if you mean you don't have any lower eyelets for the rear rack, that would be an annoyance.
