The older the rider, the more intimidating the fall could be. After 6 years of road riding, I still am very cautious when I slow down or enter uneasy tight traffic conditions. I began with Speedplays X-2 which was easy to get in and out and now use Zero's which are a little more difficult.

I find myself avoiding the tight traffic. I am amazed at the daring the bike messengers display in cities like New York.
