Since we've only heard your side of the story, I'll reserve judgment on SuperSpokes. Sounds like they're not the sharpest knives in the drawers though.
I've had three wheelsets built up by the folks at SpeedGoat and a couple sets by my local grouch. I've also had a couple machine built / Nashbar sets, all of which have held up quite well.
