I originally wanted to get Record hubs (I like the new black ones) and open pro rims, but I thought I read somewhere that because of the offset of the rear wheel with Campy that the open pros are not a good idea. Of course I can't seem to remember or find where I read that (probably one of the wheelbuilders websites).
Don't the open pros also have the reputation for making strange noises, such as ticking or creaking. Mine would and I spoke to another rider who had the same wheels and he said that was normal, but this was a few years ago???
