If you want bomb proof wheels and are not worried about weight then try the Velocity Spartacus wheels. They are paired spoke, and aero, but not light. I somehow broke a poke on a ride halfway thru and rode the remaining 30 miles home that way and the wheel was still basically true. That is what I call bomb proof. By the way, they are not expensive either so you can put that extra money to some light but not bullet proof wheels for racing.
