You would need to have total confidence in the mechanical integrity of your bicycle before attempting something like that.

And even if a tire doesn't blow and all the bolts stay tight, anything that causes even a momentary loss of control could lead to death. There is little or no margin for error.

I would not take the risk, with or without a helmet.
