i've had the luxery of flashing my badge at a couple of them and telling them to pull over. We then have a brief discussion about what they think the law is/should be versus what it is. I point out that the entire code is not written in the driver training manual, that courtesy and respect play very important parts in our lives and ( in one instance) that they should return to the gumball machine where they got their license and get retested. Most usually motored away rapidly. i imagine that at least one or two had a few moments of unease, waiting for the ticket. Not as much fun since i retired, but some habits and attitudes die hard.
