humancongereel: take this anecdotal story into consideration.
My mother works in the womans health department in a hospital, and all the time she has middle aged woman complaining about their husbands and their sex life. Everytime this comes up my mother wants to tell them to get a new partner knowing that would fix most of the problems, i.e. sometimes it's psychological not physical.
