Thanks for the good advice. It makes a lot of sense and I think I'll go with what you said.

To everyone, thanks for compliments. I really like this bike a lot. There are still a few other things I want to do. The WTB laser V stealth is very nice and comfortable but I think I'll try a black Brooks B17 and see if I like it (after a few thousand miles). Also, need to order a frame pump to fit on that tab behind the seat tube and add some mud flaps to the fenders (especially if I pull a trailer, my dog will thank me).
