I just built my first wheel, a Surly NEW track hub to a Velocity Deep-V. I'm really glad a friend was overseeing my work, I needed the extra set of hands when it got down to lacing the last two sets and getting those nipples on. I blew it as far as evening the tension before I got down to truing, and my rushing to get done only made it take that much longer in the end. Definitely take your time, and take it easy on the caffine.
