Got my pedals today. Bebop chromolys..didn't get to take them out on the road because we got about 10" of snow yesterday... but I did give them some time on my trainer...
verdict?
I love them....they're the best system i've tried so far...effortless engagement/disengagement...just step down on it and they engage...not hard to line up at all...and you get a reasssuring click...twist out and it snaps like glass....VERY precise feeling...
cleats are nice...low stack height...which is also a plus...and they're MUCH easier to walk in than the goddamn LOOK cleats....
can see why Speedplay sued them....they're similar, but FAR superior IMO....don't have to worry about cleaning them out or anything, and they're easier to engage...
