you being from Minnesota means that we are bound together eternally by killer ****ing mosquitos! i spent a week in Minnesota once and everyone was like "watch out for the mosquitos!" and i scoffed, being from louisiana and thinking the swamp mosquitos were bad ass. HELL NO! minnesota mosquitos were huge and fearless! if you didn't kill them soon enough your arm would go numb.
i don't have an accent either, so when i sall "ya'll" my students are always startled. "are you from the country?"
