Hmm gearing. Well the toughest (largest grade) would be going up Pilot Hill on Salmon Falls. I don't remember off hand but I am guessing between 5-12% for a good 2-3 miles. Its a really good climb but not exactly a killer. Most of the climb is probably 5-9% with spurts going 9-12%. 4-6 months ago I was climbing on a 39/25. When I got tested back then I was 5watts/kg max. 202 lbs & 455 watts on my VO2 max test. I am guessing I am 10% better power wise and could climb in 39/23 or 21 now.

All in all, take the above info for what its worth. If you know your numbers, than you could guage yourself based on the above.
