Hi there!

I'm new to these forums (obviously), and I'm also fairly new to cycling. I recently purchased a bike for health/fitness purposes and am riding it about 3.5-4 miles each way to and from work. It's the first bike I've bought for this purpose where I actually took into account the things I'll need to achieve the goals that I have (e.g., make it to work alive, get a little healthier, want to continue to cycle). The last bike I owned (and rode to work, incidentally) wasn't a great fit (way too small), the gears didn't work properly, and the brakes were close to going out. This new bike is like a dream, and going to work is a blast now--it certainly beats driving or walking 1/2 mile to the bus stop, that's for sure.
