A local bike shop owner played the part of a messenger extra in "Shallow Hal" when they shot it in Charlotte.
We all stopped working to watch him be us. Neat.
(BTW: I accidentally screwed up a shot they were filming when I rolled into the scene with a rush job. The movie people seemed pissed, but I did get a lot of cheers from the other messengers watching.)
