I picked up an incomplete bike, probably mid 80's, with a decent looking frame that has been sloppily repainted. It has simplex rear dropouts and a simplex seatpost. The dropouts are kind of more rounded down to an oval shape in back than I'm used to, and have adjuster screws. I haven't tried to remove the paint yet but it looked like a B at the beginning of a possible number on the bottom bracket.
The seat stays attach more at the back of the seat tube lug. When looking from the front at the head tube lugs, they have a litte bit of a bulge at the center of the thin parts that wrap around the front of the head tube. Just little differences from some mid 80's Japanese frames that I'm used to. Grateful for any ideas of what it might be.
