Is it for a child or adult? I ask because I was always unhappy with child carriers, as they tend to move the centre of gravity too far up and back for my liking. I did, however, manage to fit a small bike seat to the crossbar of my mountainbike for my daughter to sit on. It's attatched with thick, wide velcro straps, and has a foot stirrup for her. I fitted some old innertube under the saddle to stop it moving. I'd show you a picture, but my camera's playing up. If anyone is interested, I'll get another camera and take some shots. It really did make carrying my daughter so much easier, and in my book it's safer. She's cradled by my arms, plus she gets a better view.
