judging from the pivot location it looks like a solid 2 finger lever. Paul has tons of experience with brake levers and generally isn't known for building ****.

*Wasn't* known for building ****. However the market for high priced cnced stuff is pretty small these days so he seems to be left with making fancy looking crap for hipsters. Note the crankset and this brake lever.
