I just got my first pair of bike shorts. They are the type that go under regular shorts, but whatever. My question is, does anyone see issue with hand washing them in shower during a post ride shower? Will normal soap ruin the chamois or anything like that? Or just wash them like that and hang 'em to dry?

Walking with bike shorts sure does feel odd. It feels like I'm wearing a diaper. On the other hand, riding for over two hours sure feel alot better.
