After listening to the live Tour de Georgia on the Web this afternoon, there was a lot of speculation that Johan and company are "very close" to making an announcement and want to have this "deal well in the bag before the TDF." Makes sense, becasue whatever company it is, will need as much lead time as possible to design the kits, get the management team in order, etc. prior to the end of the '06 season.
This is what they did in 2004 when announcing Discovery Channel coming on board.
Check the 2004 USPS TdF jerseys and they already had incorporated the Discovery Channel logo on the jerseys in the red/white horizontal strip above the USPS logo.
