The LBS I used to work at in the '90's carried St Tropez, although the only one I saw there was a hybrid. Sorry to say it was junk. The cantilever brake arms were made of thick stamped sheet metal and were just crap (I did the final inspection and test rode it for him). Some old guy bought it and he said he was going to ride it in the Smokey Mountains in Tennessee. Of course I didn't say anything but I felt sorry for him thinking he was going to get killed there since the brakes were so bad.
