i had mks sylvans for a long time, and they are really a tremendous value, especially having ridden friends' wellgos and whatnot

a while ago i swapped them out for a pair of rx-1's that i traded a pair of handlebars and a little $ to a forum member for. they are really amazingly smooth, and surprisingly comfortable in soft-soled shoes, although the platform is a little small. they retail for around 100, which in my opinion, they are not at all worth, but if you can get a deal on them or make a trade like i was able to do, by all means, they're really amazing pedals.

i've tried a wide variety of toe straps, and the only ones i've been happy with are my toshi singles. i'm contemplating a set of doubles for when they go, but let's be honest here: i don't see that happening any time soon, the way they're made.
