Very nice review.
What about off road running? Not necessarily rocky trails and the such, but some triathlon courses that i regularly run have sections of hiking trail. It's usually hardpacked dirt but there's the usual small rocks/pebbles and some loose sections and it's definitely not smooth and flat like pavement...
Oh, and if it's not too much trouble, an impression about running on soft surfaces like grass would be nice too.
[now if i can just convince myself to put down the $$$ for these in a few months...]
